The Backstory
I’ve learned to embrace every challenge, focusing on growth and the thrill of acquiring new skills.
I am the first in my family to graduate from college and early career I found myself in healthcare, but I’ve always had a passion for design. After work, I’d spend my evenings tinkering with design projects just for fun, and I still do. Even though I’ve always had that creative spark, I never really saw design as a 'real' career path, until now.
My journey into design began with a desire to align my work with my creative interests and problem-solving skills. Reflecting on my healthcare experience, I realize that I have a genuine drive to help people. This led me to see that digital interfaces often intimidate consumers instead of simplifying their lives. This insight sparked my passion for Product Design, where I aim to create clear, transparent, and approachable designs that make digital tools more trustworthy and user-friendly.
My time in healthcare has shaped my analytical approach to problem-solving and nurtured a strong curiosity to learn, both essential for understanding complex challenges and finding innovative solutions.
